Donald Trump, prosecuted for his negligent handling of state secrets after leaving the White House, pleaded not guilty to the charges against him on Tuesday during his historic appearance in federal court in Miami.
A few hours after making US history by becoming the first former tenant of the White House to be indicted by the federal justice system, Donald Trump denounced an “abhorrent abuse of power” by Joe Biden.
In front of supporters gathered at his golf club in New Jersey, he accused his Democratic successor of being “corrupt” and of attacking his “main political opponent”.
